Pirate Cake and goodies

The client I made this cake and goodies for is a great client of mine.  I made her little boys Cars birthday cake and goodies last year too.  This year the theme was pirates so I suggested making a treasure chest.  I wanted it to look distressed like it was found in the bottom of the ocean  and I think I achieved the look well.  Everything on this cake is edible.  The jewels are made out of sugar turned into a hard candy.  I burned myself while pouring it into the gem molds, ouch!  The map was made with fondant mixed with Tylose and I used an edible ink pen to write and draw on it.  I also made cupcakes with little cannons, seashells, maps, and pirate flags as toppers as well as cute cookies with little girl and boy pirates.  When I delivered the cake that the client so it her reaction blew me away. She said, Oh my God, Leelee, no way! You are too much!"I wish I could have taken a picture of her face, lol!  Needless to say that I was extremely happy that the cake I made for her exceeded her expectations.

Tiffany Box Birthday Cake

I love making cakes for this client. I have made several cakes for her and her daughters that always enjoy having a not so ordinary cake for their celebrations.  I can't believe it's been a year already since I made her daughter's last Shoe Birthday Cake. This year I made her a smaller cake in the shape of a Tiffany box and dangling from the box was a heart charm that said "Born to
Shop" with a smaller charm with her age "27", true to Tiffany jewelry (I know because I love them and own a few pieces).  The chain and charms are made out of gumpaste.  I worked on matching the blue/green color and did almost to perfection.

Baby Butt Cake and CupcaKes

This cake was super fun to make!  The client sent me a picture of a cake that she wanted and I am happy to say that my cake came out nicer than the sample.  The feet are cuter!  I also made cupcakes with little flowers to match the cake. The client wanted me to make a display for her cupcakes and I did and was happy with how it turned out.  Thank you for looking.

Cinderella Cake, Cupcakes, and Cookies

Last year this client asked me to make her little girl sweets in with the  Tinkerbell theme and her little girl loved it.  This year her little girl wanted Cinderella.  I made a 6 inch castle cake that was decorated with icecream cones.  I made sugar cookies in the shape of Cinderella's dress, castle, shoe, and crown that I decorated with fondant. I also made cupcakes in half chocolate and half vanilla that I decorted with crowns, shoes, carriage, a clock make out of fondant.  The client also wanted marshamallow dipped in chocolate.
