Maltese Dog Cake

This cakes was made for an adorable little girl that absolutely loves her Maltese named Pepi.   Her favorite color is purple and her second favorite color is blue.  She's a girly girl and knows what she likes at the tender age of 8.  Her mom wanted to make her something special that would make her little girl smile. Their family has gone through a lot this year.  Hopefully Sophia enjoyed her cake just as much as I did making it for her. The dog is sculpted out of cereal treats covered in  MMF with Tylose.  My husband said to me: "Wow, Negra (term of endearment to me) you truly are an artist" That made me feel great and honestly, I love how the dog came out, it really looks like Pepi. The best parThe flavor was vanilla loaf with chocolate buttercream filling and iced in  the same, then covered in MMF (marshmallow fondant) tinted in those fabulous colors (my favorite too).  Feel free to leave me comments!  Thank you for looking!
