FCFC "Fun"-Raiser Dessert Table

We had the privilege of making the desserts for Family and Children Faith Coalition's first annual "Fun-Raiser" Paint the Town. FCFC is dear to my heart not only because I work there with incredibly wonderful people, but because I believe in the work this organization does in our community through each of its programs by providing after school care for children so that their parents are able to work knowing their children are in a safe and loving environment, connecting children  with their incarcerated parents, mentoring, and teaching our teenagers about the benefits of abstinence.   FCFC is a faith based organization and everything we do is with the purpose of effectively respond to the needs of our neighbors. If you didn't have the opportunity to go to this event, you can still be part of what FCFC does, just go to fcfcfl.org to get more information and see how you can help.

I thank God for my husband Ignacio for all his hard work on this project! The man is incredible!  I couldn't have done this without him! It took us a total of 27 hours to complete this project between Thursday, Friday and Saturday. We made three flavors of cupcakes: Lemon Chiffon, Fudge with Hazelnut filling, and Vanilla Bean with Dulce de Leche filling.  We also  made white chocolate truffles filled with caramel.  People would come up to me and tell me how good they were (thank God!), Brownie Pecan bites and Tropical milk chocolate and coconut bites that people couldn't just have one!  I ran out of my business cards that evening!  I thank FCFC for the opportunity they gave me to not only make these desserts for them, but for allowing me to network with other people.

Music Notes Cake

This client contacted me after looking at my webpage and falling in love with the pink and black  with music notes cake I made for my niece's  Sweet Sixteen birthday. She asked me if we could make it more manly because it was for her husband's 45th birthday and she didn't want it with 3 tiers  because it was for a small party.  I told her that I could accommodate her and I did!  When she picked up the cake she was very pleased.  Flavor was Dominican Cake Covered with MMF. The music notes and the numbers were made with Tylose.

Anniversary top cake

This was for a couple that wanted to celebrate their first year anniversary, but didn't really wanted to eat the frozen top cake from their wedding that's been sitting in their freezer, for a year!  Hey, I don't blame them!  So I made them this topper similar to their wedding cake,  instead of using fresh flowers, I made it a little more fun by making fondant ribbon roses (the original cake had three natural roses in champagne color).  Flavor was Leelee's vanilla rum.

Spring Flower cake and Cookie

This is a very simple, but cute cake I created for a little baby shower.  The party favors were little tin cans that had a pink flower with a yellow button and a green leaf.  I recreated it on the cake.  The standing flowers are made of MMf and tylose. The flavor is Dominican.  The cookies were made as favors and are vanilla almond flavor.

Christ Fellowship West Kendall Cake

I was asked to make two cakes (one for each service) for my church to serve a gazillion people!  The smaller cake is a commercial half sheet and the big one is a full sheet.  The decoration was simple:  Our logo and name and Happy 2 Birthday.  People loved it and kept asking me what gave it that flavor.  All I could say was: it's Leelee's Specialty Vanilla flavor.  It's really hard to tell people the various things that go into a recipe, but I am really  blessed that people like what I consider a recipe I dreamed of, as crazy as it may sound. ;)!

Beach Theme Birthday Cake

Beach Theme cake for a very young lady that loves the beach! The flavor of the cake is Dominican.   Everything on the cake is made of MMF.  Very simple, but cute cake!
