Vintage Cake and pops

The bride wanted a very simplistic cake with a whimsical flower and cake pops.  I love how she had them displayed on an old desk with vintage props.

Sunflower Cake

This is a very simple cake.  I made it for a baby shower.  The flavor is guava with fondant.  The sunflowers are made of gumpaste. This cake with another tier and could be great for a bridal shower or even a wedding with a monogram on top.

Shoe Cake

made this cake for clients that I absolutely love to work with.  A cake is a very important thing for them when it comes to celebrating.  I went back and forth with the client choosing colors, style and ideas.  she sent me a picture of a designer shoe she loved and I said I would try to replicate it out of sugar.  The shoe had crystals so I made gum paste swatches with different edible finishes that were similar to the bling on the shoe.  To make this story short, the client loved it when she saw it and I was ecstatic!  The bottom layer is red velvet with cream cheese frosting and the top is my moist guava cake

Martini Glass 3

I have made this cake so many times that I can truly make it with my eyes closed.  The only reason I decided to post it was because this one's a bit different.  The client brought me a "Lolita" martini glass that he wanted me to use and for his wife to keep.  This cake was larger than the others I have made in the past.  It's a 14x14x3 cake.  The flavor was Leelee's vanilla specialty cake with vanilla bean icing filling.  covered in MMF.  I absolutely loved the client's expression when he picked it up.  He said it looked even better than the picture on my site.  He also said that they do many events and that he is a policeman, and that from that moment on, they would hire me for all their parties.  I try my hardest to create clean, impeccable work for my clients. I can truly say I am my worst critic.  I will never be 100% satisfied with my work, but if the client is, that is what matters most. I am grateful to God for my work ethics which is why I believe that my clients come back again and again and highly recommend me to their friends, family and peers.  I truly love what I do!!!

Heart of Roses Valentine's cake

A client wanted me to make a smaller version of a 3 tiered cake for her Valentine's Day party. I suggested  a color scheme I selected which I'm using for my Valentine's dinner party this year ( So excited, I'll post pictures).  She wanted to see if they looked as nice as I said.  I happen to think that baby blue and red look very sophisticated paired up.  Especially the very pale blue and candy apple red. She loved it! I'm Happy for that!  Flavor: Gran Manier with orange zest buttercream, topped with Marshmallow Fondant! Cute! This same type of cake can be done in any combination of colors!  The sky is the limit!

Tiffany Cake

OK, I know I always say this, but... I had sooooooooo much fun making this cake!!!! I loved making the color (luckily I've kept Tiffany & Co. boxes from gifts my hubby's given me) for the fondant and all the intricate details to make this cake. Everything is made with MMF. The flavor is my specialty, Leelee's rum cake, with Dulce de Leche filling. I'm looking forward to the cakes I have to make next week.

Engagement Cake

This cake I made in conjunction with my friend, Danly for her niece. It's a rum cake with MMF decorations. The ring was made with gumpaste and colored with silver dust diluted in vodka.
