I made this cake for a young lady that I love very much! Flavor is rum with MMF icing and decorations. The cakes are 4 inches high each.
Retro Cake
I made this cake for my sister's 50th birthday! I took some of my pans and utensils to Rhode Island from Miami so that I could make it over there. I had such a great time as I was creating this cake for my sister. She was with me in the kitchen as I worked and we laughed and reminisced about so many wonderful things and giggled like crazy. I believe it was another memory created for the two of us. Anyway, back to the cake, it was for 100 people. All edible. I used edible silver for the disco ball and gumpaste for the silhouettes and the 50. My sister absolutely loved it! Thanks for looking!

Pots and Pans Cake
This cake was made for a lady that was turning 50. This cake was so fun to make! I followed the sketch and tried staying true to colors and everthing as the sketch. Everything is edible. The board was covered in white fondant marked like tiles. The lady holding the the wooden spoon is a sugar cookie that I decorated with MMF and Royal icing. The pots handle is made of RTK covered in white chocolate and fondant.
Mickey Mouse Playhouse
The client was torn between two cakes she saw, one that I had made, and the other one she had found online. She didn't know what to do so I suggested that we took a little bit of both and come up with a design that had the two things she liked most of both cakes. She told me she liked the idea and that she trusted that whatever I came up with would be great. When she came to pick up the cake she absolutely loved it. I wish I could have taken a picture of her face. This is what I love about what I do. Not only does it bring me joy by being able to create these art pieces, but the reaction of a satisfied customer is priceless to me!

Minnie Mouse Cupcake Tower
Ok, This month has been for this character, I have had several orders and it has been variations of this which I have done several times already, So I won't post all of them. Only this on because it is smaller than what I had done before and it works for a tower. I also made 80 cupcakes for this order, plus more cupcakes for other clients. I still have two more orders like this before December is over. I guess Minnie is really popular right now! Thanks for looking!

Ni Hao Kai Lan Cake
This was such a fun cake to do! I must say that the design is not original. the client showed me a picture of a cake someone made and I replicated it with some modification. Since I don't have small kids any more, I really didn't who the character Ni Hao Kai Lan was, but soon found out. The cake is a marble loaf with cookies and cream buttercream. Delicious!!!! Thank you for looking

Toy Story Cakes
This week was a Toy Story week! Super fun! I enjoyed working on all the elements for these orders!
the two tiered cake for the tower was to serve 50 people . The flavor was Dominican cake with pineapple cream filling and this was for all the adults. I made 50 cupcakes , half vanilla sponge and the other half chocolate sponge with vanilla bean buttercream and sprinkles. They were decorated with little characters from the movie. These were made out of fondant. I thank my daughters Lauren and Ashley for all their help. I have two talented girls that have an eye for detail. Everything on this cake is completely edible. The two characters on top were made out of gumpaste. I also made butter sugar cookies with the birthday boy's name on them.

I also made a smaller cake/cupcake tower featuring buzz light year. The character on top of the cake is a candle and the cupcakes are chocolate and vanilla with buttercream frosting and MMF decorations

Pop Art Inspired Cake and cupcakes
I have always loved art, and there is something about pop art that I just truly adore. I was inspired by art that I love from a Brazilian artist, Romero Britto. Although I didn't copy any of his designs, I did use some of his whimsical and bold color combos. I love when clients listen to my ideas and tell me to go for it! Flavors are Red velvet, and cream cheese buttercream. Thanks for looking!

Modern Vintage Cake
OK, I totally enjoyed making this cake! Love the combination of colors and loved that I got to use my paint brushes too! This was for a bridal shower, but if a bride is bold and daring enough, this would be a wonderful wedding cake by just adding a couple of more tiers and flowers. The flavor is Leelee's specialty rum cake with coconut cream filling. Yum!!!!! The roses are made of gumpaste and yes, they are black and look absolutely fabulous. Sometimes we need to think out of the box! Thanks for looking!

The blue around the bottom of the tiers are a reminder of the nice warm beach water. The Calla Lily flowers are made of gumpaste. I hadn't done flowers for cakes in a while, but I see they are making a big come back! The shells are also made out of gumpaste. The flavor is Moist red velvet with cream cheese filling. I brushed some metalic silver on the ropes bordering the cake. The tiers are four inches high.

This is a mini replica of my Shades of Pink Butterfly cake, but this one was made for a 7 year old's birthday party, and instead of having three shades of pink in only has two. The cake is Leelee's Specialty rum cake with MMF, and the butterflies and number 7 are edible, made of gumpaste
The cookies lollipops are butter flavored and came out nice, even and golden making these cookies super moist. They were placed in flower pots that I painted in two shades of pink and stamped with butterflies. I am pleased to say that I did this to a returning customer. This is always a good thing. Thank you for looking!
