When this client approached me to make her baby shower cake I immediately got excited. I totally enjoy making sweets for her special events because she has the most exquisite taste and knows exactly what she wants. I've had the privilege of making several things for her, Little Monster dessert table elements for her son's first birthday, her son's second birthday, Monkey Cake and Goodies, and now this super exciting theme, Special Delivery.
The bottom cake was vanilla bean with chocolate cream filling and the top cake was dark chocolate fudge cake with vanilla buttercream frosting. Both cakes were covered in buttercream, then covered in MMF (marshmallow fondant) that was tinted to resemble packing paper. The words "Fragile" and "Delivery" were done with a stencil and food coloring and the rest I wrote with my own handwriting. The cookies are butter sugar cookies decorated with vanilla flavored MMF and decorated with rubber stamps that were dabbed in food coloring (not an easy task) and the border of each cookie was hand painted using a brush with blue and red food coloring.
I was so happy to read what the client texted me:
"Thank you so much Leelee! Everything is beautiful like always and better than I expected!..."

Whimsical Princess Castle
This cake was for a recurring client of mine. She wanted something special for her little princess' birthday. She sent me a picture of a cake and asked me if I could make it for her. I think I came really close to what she wanted. She was very pleased when she picked it up. the flavor was almond vanilla.
Toy Story Jesse
A small cake inspired by the Jesse character from Toy Story. Cake is marble with vanilla bean buttercream frosting. All elements are edible. I also made butter cookies in the shape of the hat and stars.
