Butterflies Cakes and Cookies

This cake was for my youngest daughter 16th birthday. I was inspired by a devotional book that for teens that had her favorite colors, plus her favorite bug, butterflies. I also made a cookie bouquet with the colors. This was so much fun to do. The cake is covered in chocolate MMF and the number and the butterflies were also made with MMF.These cookies were a hit. They are decorated with MMF.

This cake was for a client and she absolutely loved it. She had seen the one I had made for Lauren's 16th birthday and wanted one like it but in shades of pink.

Some of the cakes I'm posting were made in collaboration with a friend of mine, Danly. My idea with this blog is not only to share this passion I have of baking and creating with the rest of the blog world, but to also give ideas and tutorials of my own. After all, the internet and other people's websites serve as a trampoline and inspiration to me.I made this cake for my brother-in-laws wedding. His fiancee at the time wanted something very simple.This was a very small wedding cake. the bride showed me a picture of a similar cake and I basically copied it.
This was for a friends sister. A three tiered cake covered in buttercream. The cake toppers are two giant sugar cookies on a stick decorated as a bride and groom. Super fun to do.
